BACK FROM A TIMBER STUDY TRIP TO SWEDEN

Ian Harvey is just back from a timber study trip to Sweden made up of a select group of leading British architects and interior designers hosted by Swedish Wood (www.swedishwood.com).

The trip gave us all fresh visual inspiration through first-hand experience of the latest Swedish interiors and through meeting with Swedish interior designers and architects at the Stockholm School of Architecture . The trip included forest and finishing mill visits to provide a better understanding of the available qualities and finishes of Swedish pine products, such as paneling, flooring and moldings, to add to the palette of our own designs.
